Acknowledgment and acceptance of terms and conditions
The Frenchba.org.au website is owned and operated by French Bilingual Association Inc. (ABN: 64 958 442 803). By browsing or purchasing from this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time.
Adhésion
French Bilingual Association Membership is for the calendar year, and application is via an online registration form. Payments for membership are non-refundable. Current Membership is mandatory to attend Ecole Du Samedi classes, Mini-Bleus training and the Playgroup.
Enrolments and registrations
Enrolment to Classes, events and activities is via online registration forms. Unless stated otherwise, payment in advance is required to secure a place in any course, activity or event. We will accept your order by sending you an email confirming receipt and listing the details of your order. An order will not be complete or binding until you receive an email from us confirming receipt.
Classes, events or activities may be subject to a minimum and maximum number of participants or Restrictions (age of the participant, toilet training, level of French comprehension…) and we reserve the right to reject your application to enrol. Enrolments in some classes or activities may also be managed via a Waiting List.
Refund policy
If you have paid for a whole term, full refund will only be given up to 14-days prior to the first class commencement date. Refund requests must be made in writing. A Cancellation fee ($25) may be charged.
No refund will be given to any participant who withdraws after the commencement of a class, event or activity.
Missed class policy
We do not refund, credit, run additional classes or training to make up for any individual classes or training participants have missed.
We reserve the right to substitute teachers at our discretion, subject to the replacement teacher being qualified and skilled at a level required to take the relevant class.
Medical Attention
The parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees that their child attending Mini-Bleus soccer training or Playgroup shall be under their direction, care and control throughout the course of the playgroup or soccer training and the parent or legal guardian shall be responsible for the welfare and conduct of the child throughout.
Children under the age of 18 years enrolled in a course at Ecole du Samedi are under the responsibility of the French Bilingual Association Inc. from the start time of the course until the end of the course when they are in the classroom. In the event of a personal emergency, sudden illness or accident of a child attending the classes you authorise us to seek medical, hospital or ambulance services on your child’s behalf and at your expense where we (at our absolute discretion) consider it to be necessary or appropriate to do so. You agree that you will be solely responsible for any expenses associated with the provision of such services.
